My nephew is so expressive and full of personality. I love photography him because you never know what you are going to get from him.
These are from last year’s archives…
I haven’t had the energy to have a whole lot of company yet this summer and I haven’t taken the time to get many photos either. I thought I would share some fun we had last summer with the kids.
My mom likes to collect all kinds of fun and unique things for the kids to do. She had found these noise making, flying balloons. It was fun to see the kids faces as they tried to blow them up. Big red chipmunk cheeks!
The same day we were enjoying the yard was the same day that the local Boy Scouts were having a party downtown dressed up as Star Wars characters. The kids each received a light saber and had great fun meeting all the characters.
This week I took a road trip for work to Mackinaw City. The drive up started out dreary and rainy, but by afternoon we had beautiful weather to enjoy.
Mackinaw City has a great little shopping district with all sorts of shops to browse thru for summer tourists. I took some time before heading home to do a little browsing myself. I really didn’t buy a whole lot except some fresh cherries for me to snack on for my drive home.
I love our great state of Michigan! I love our small beach towns along the Great Lakes. I love the feel and beauty of the lakes! The scenery is amazingly beautiful and there is so much to see and do!
Another stop I made was Sea Shell City. I had been by the shop many times on my way to the Upper Peninsula, but had never stopped there before. My curiosity got the best of me this time.
It was a very cute nautical, beachy inspired shop. Lots & lots to look at.
Our little Bundle of Joy is growing along with my belly. I think I am on the upswing for feeling better & having more energy. Which is much needed!
I had the whole weekend to myself. I took the time to spend the day & night at Lake Michigan in Ludington. Much needed rejuvenation time with a favorite person of mine.
I love that I finally got my hands on this pregnancy tea from my friend’s midwife.
Of all the things for me to be craving…fresh green beans…at least they are healthy.
From last weekend: The kids watching the parade on the 4th of July.
